Dental Care

Remove the barriers to a fresh start. Our teams provide services that will enable a man or woman to transition from recovery to gainful employment — services many of us take for granted, including a dental exam and treatment.

Poor dental health can lead to more serious health problems later in life, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and stroke. Your gift provides cleanings, preventative care, x-rays, emergency treatment, oral surgery, and dentures.

For the past 26 years, the Mission's Dental Clinic has helped give our guests and homeless individuals a reason to smile through a variety of dental services.

Your gift helps people like Tim. He shared with us, “Years ago, I was hit in the mouth, but I don’t know why the teeth are hurting now.” Our volunteer dentist read the x-rays and determined Tim’s front teeth were fractured under the gums which is why they were coming loose and causing excruciating pain. We explained that the dentist would need to remove the teeth and replace them with a removable temporary tooth appliance. Tim was so grateful, and he was also relieved!

Each item is representative of the gift category in which it appears, and donations will be used to provide assistance within that gift category where it is needed most.
